Linnaeus II is a freely available multifunctional information management tool for systematists and biodiversity researchers. It facilitates the creation of taxonomic databases, computer aided identification keys, interactive searchable distribution maps, literature and glossary modules for access on the web or on compact disk. We publish your Linnaeus II taxonomic information system on CD-ROM, DVD-ROM or on the Web as part of our contribution to the GBIF Species Bank Programme. Also non-Linnaeus taxonomic information systems can be published. Want to know more? Please contact us at info@eti.uva.nl. ETI BioInformatics is an NGO in operational relations with UNESCO. Our mission is to assist the scientific community in achieving worldwide access to quality taxonomic and biodiversity information. We design, develop and implement ICT services ICT solutions to support the accessibility and interoperability of digital scientific and educational information (see Clients). ETI BioInformatics supports information providers with product/service development and liaises between providers and users.
