Birds of Europe 1.0 doesn't run properly on my Macintosh. What is wrong?

Bird of Europe 1.0 was written for use with HyperCard version 2.1. Since then, HyperCard has been upgraded to version 2.3, which does not work well with BOE. If you have HyperCard 2.2 or 2.3, you can either install the HyperCard 2.1 player which came along with BOE and run the program from there, or you fetch this patch file: Birds of Europe 1.0 patch. Please carefully read the manual that comes along with the patch, or risk improperly patching BOE.

The best thing you can do is to upgrade to Bird of Europe 2.x, which is a completely revised and extended edition, with many new features. Please visit the CD-ROM catalogue for details.
