Q: I am using Turtles of the World 1.0 with Mac OS 8.x or 9.x. It seems the scroll bars in each module have disappeared. When I click in the scroll bar area it appears, but its behaviour is rather erratic.

A: This is a bug in SuperCard 3.0, the program used to build the version of Linnaeus II 2.0 used for the Turtles. The developer of SuperCard has addressed the error in SuperCard 3.5. This inconvenience has been fixed in Turtles of the World 1.1 and later.

Customers who bought Turtles of the World 1.0 can download the Turtles of the World 1.2 for free. This update fixes the disappearing scroll bars under Mac OS 8.x/9.x and incorrect display of subspecies in the Index. French, German and Dutch vernacular names and several new pictures have been added.
